PMG
Hermetically Sealed Glass.
Hermetically sealed glass represents an advanced containment technology creating an absolute airtight environment that prevents gas, liquid, and contaminant exchange. Crafted through precision welding and fusion techniques, these specialized enclosures provide comprehensive isolation for sensitive materials. Essential in scientific, medical, and industrial domains, hermetic seals protect contents from oxidation and external interactions. Applications span laboratory equipment, electronic components, pharmaceutical packaging, and vacuum-sealed storage systems. By maintaining a pristine, controlled internal environment, these glass containers ensure the integrity and purity of their contents, making them critical in settings demanding maximum protection and preservation.

Laser Sealing
Glass laser sealing is an innovative process that opens up new possibilities for wafer-level electronics encapsulation based on hermetic all-glass housings. The hermetic fusion is created by an extremely precise laser. Here, glass is only bonded to glass at the touching surfaces - an area of just a few micrometers -; all other surfaces remain untouched. Laser sealing requires no adhesives or additives, reducing the complexity and removing the risk of chemical contamination. Even heat-sensitive electronics can be sealed without risk due to the extremely precise control of heat.

Metal Soldering
Plating glass with precious metals such as gold or platinum allows for a hermetic seal to be created by brazing or soldering the tubes to a header or other component. PMG supplies you both the glass or technical ceramic component, as well as the metal layers needed for soldering.
